Since the year 2012, Paulin runs a small production company out of his European backyard. He produced and shot a dozen image films, live events, and behind-the-scenes. In the summer of 2020, he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in International and European Law at the University of Groningen. His thesis focused on copyright and related rights in the European digital single market and how they relate to the right to freedom of expression. In 2015 Paulin became the first-ever European exchange student at the University of Bahir Dar in Ethiopia, where he studied courses on Traditional Ethiopian Law, African Water Law, Ethiopian Constitutional Law, and Humanitarian Law. After graduation, he started to work for the achieved European art-house producer Philippe Bober, where he expanded his professional network.
